Day 1 of P90X
It's day 1 of the P90X workouts. Completed Chest & Back, and Ab Ripper. Now these workouts are obviously for someone who is already in good shape. Which I'm not in terrible shape, but I'm not in good shape. I had to do the bands vs the bar, and because I have no upper body strength my push ups consisted of being on my knees with my legs lifted and bent. Hopefully in the next 3 weeks I'll be able to do the push-ups the traditional way. I'm starting these workouts weighing in at 198lbs. My goal weight is 160. These workouts are a bit of an experiment for me. I can't follow the diet to the exacts, and can do variations of many of the routines. I'm going to stick with it for 30 days. 2 years ago I weighed in at 269. Down 71lbs to date. Will post weekly measurements, and weight.

Day 9 - Shot 4
Its day 9 and still the scale isn't moving. However I can see the weightloss in my face, and shoulder area. My collar bones are now showing vs being chubbed over. Frustrating as it is that the scale is not going down, it is still exciting to be able to physically see a change. Which in the end is the more important of the two. At some point today im going to do my measurements. Last couple of days I've been very hungry, and craving water. Today was shot 4, 2ml.

Day 6
Took my 3rd shot this morning, 2ml. Haven't noticed the scale go down, still seem to weigh the same. However I have definitely lost weight. My tummy is much flatter than it was, and my face is thinner. I've been doing a lot of hiking and mountain biking in the last week, so I've probably gained muscle weight and lost fat. Side effects I'm noticing now are nausea, and god help me if I eat a fatty meal. That alone motivates you to watch what you put in your mouth. Started my sister on these the same day I did, and she has decided to stop the shots. She is not willing to change her diet and cut out the fat. So the fat going right through her has really effected her. These shots are certainly not made for people who can not change their diet. All in all everything is great, and energy is up!

Day 2
It's Day 2. The only things noticeable are more energy, and definitely more thirsty than normal. Not sure if that is a related side effect or not. Also seem to have less of an appetite which is always fabulous. So far so good. Playing tennis this evening for exercise.

Assistance is here!!
Finally recieved the Lipotropic b12 combo shots in the mail today. A little later than Tuesday, but either way it is exciting to start. Weighed myself, and I'm pretty sure the scale was off, or I'm a smidge dehydrated because I was only 196. 4lbs since the 4th seems a little much. First injection is done 2ml, with another in 3 days. Very exciting!!!

Assistance is enroute!
I now weigh in at 200lbs, after loosing 60 in the last 19th months. While I'm more active than I have been in the last 8 years of life, also eating healthier, it is just not coming off anymore. It's time to get some assistance. Something to help jump start the weight loss again. After doing some research, and exhausting all normal weight loss tactics, assistance is coming by way of Lipotropic shots on Tuesday. With a 2 month supply, giving myself a shot every 3 days, time will tell if these shots and the hype behind them are real. I don't expect a miracle, just a boost. Will continue to eat a 1200-1400 calorie a day diet, as well as continue with the regular excercise. Todays excercise was a 45min bike ride through a state park, and tennis this evening. I've searched high and low for a blogger using these shots. Have yet to find someone that has chronicled their usage, results, and if they recommend them. For atleast the next 2 months I will try to post a few times a week about my progress, results, any side effects, and anything else that might pop up. If you are on them, or have questions, feel free to contact me, would love to hear from you.
